BSM: What’s LOVE Got To Do With It?
We all want it. We all try to give it out as best as we could. Jesus modeled it pretty well. But, what is love? What does it really look like? Why is it so hard? Come find out what it's all about this Sunday night, from 6-7:15pm at the Bradley's (4004 Shrike Trail, Roanoke - New Address). We'll have some good snacks, games, gift cards up for grabs, and plenty of more fun to go around. You don't want to miss it!
Summer Rec
For the 3rd year summer in a row, our Bara Interns have hosting our FREE Summer Rec that started last past Tuesday, July 8th. We've already had a phenomenal first week with days over 50 kids and coaches! We can still use your help in a few ways! First, spread the word. For all the information, get it here. Secondly, if you have any extra balls of any sort lying around your house or garage that we could borrow and/or keep, that would be a huge blessing. Thirdly, we can always use extra help and bodies, especially if you are a student in BSM or older. Lastly, please pray for our interns as they lead, all the kids that will come, and for the safety of all in the Texas heat. Arise and Build
If you love accomplishing a lot at one time (think: one stop shopping) then you need to come check out our Arise and Build Prayer Nights every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm at the BARA offices. In less than an hour, you can praise The Lord for all He is doing in and through Arise and Build while you answer His call to pray audaciously for what is to come and if that wasn't enough: you will get to build new relationships with your BARA family!! One of the sweet byproducts of our Prayer Nights for those of us that have been participating is that we have experienced the joy of getting to know each other better in ways that can only happen by praying and spending time together.
