30 for 30 Challenge Pastor Joel told the church about our 30 for 30 Challenge. It's a challenge to invite 30 people over the next 30 days (ends on Easter) and the staff will be providing 30 creative and fun ways to help. Please be prayerfully considering who God would have you ask to join us for Easter. Also, ask Him to give you the eyes to see those who might not initially think of so that you can see and invite them as well. The website goes live tomorrow (or you can get a sneak peek right now if you'd like) at barachurch.com/30for30. Also, you'll see there are downloadable graphics for the Glow Egg Hunt as well as our Easter service so you can share them on social media. Don't miss this challenge to invite friends, family, stranger, and anybody and everybody to hear the greatest story ever!

1st & Ten Throughout scripture you’ll find the people of God tithing. They gave the first tenth of their income to the purposes of God in their local temple or local church. It is with this mindset that we, as the Bara Church family, are learning to experience the joyful grace of tithing. We know 1st & Ten is a football term, but what would you expect for a church in Texas? 1st and Ten in our giving allows us to learn the joyful discipline of giving first to the purposes of God every time we receive a paycheck or an installment of income. The spirit of the tithe is as much about what you give to first as it is giving a tenth. It’s in that same spirit that we are training ourselves to go 1stand Ten. We give our first and best in response to our Father who gave His first and best and only son for us. It is Bara’s goal to always advance in generosity! Your 1st and Ten gift will do just that.
