This Sunday is the 5th Sunday of the month and is a time when we invite our kids into worship with us. The nursery will still be provided but all other kids are invited to sit with their parents during the service. There will be age appropriate binders for kids to work on during the sermon. This Sunday is especially special as our kids will be singing for us as well. You don't want to miss this treat! Bara loves our kids and love to show them off. Come be their biggest fan.
Gimme Five
This Sunday, during service we are extending the reach for a wonderful chance to volunteer in our B-Kids ministry. We are in need of teache’s and we are asking people to Gimme Five, or one Sunday a month for the next five months to teach our kids. Everything will be provided for you and given to you a week in advance. If you can't do five times, please pick one or two times you can. Don't miss this great opportunity to love on our sweet children. Signups will be available during and after service on Sunday.
BSM Evangelism: Roller Skating
This Sunday night from 4:15-5:30pm (NOTE THE UNIQUE TIME), we will be getting our groove on at SkateTown in Grapevine (2330 William D. Tate Ave. Grapevine, TX 76051). The cost is $9 per student and we will be meeting there. We did this a few months ago and it was so much fun and a huge success. Grab a friend and meet us there. Contact Ryan if you need a ride.

Glow Egg Hunt - Invite and Volunteer
At Bara, we like to do things a little differently and fun. So we're going to just that as we host our first ever Glow Egg Hunt. NEXT Saturday night April 4th, at the Byron Nelson High School practice football fields we will be hiding over 2,500 Glow in the Dark Easter Eggs. We'll also have face painting, a bounce house and much more. We want to use this outreach event to invite our friends and neighbors to as well as Easter Sunday the following morning. We will need a bunch of help with serving popcorn, face painting and running the bounce houses as well as all that will be helping with the Egg Hunt itself such as prepping and hiding the eggs, sign up and much more. The Egg Hunt starts at 8pm but we could use your help starting around 6pm. Please serve if you can but definitely please help us spread the word and invite all your friends. If you would like to serve or have any questions, please contact Ryan Bradley at Ryan@barachurch.com.
Easter Sunday
Easter is quickly approaching. Please be inviting, promoting, and praying for this great day. The theme this year is Believe. Our Gathering will be at our regular time 10:00am. Come celebrate our Risen Lord.
Live Like Josh 3 Year Celebration
On Sunday, April 12th, Bara has the privilege of hosting the Live Like Josh 3 Year Celebration in honor of the life lived by BNHS student Joshua Hernandez who passed away suddenly on April 14, 2012. Students and adults looked up to Josh in how he carried himself, how he loved others, and how he loved Jesus. We are honored to partner with the Live Like Josh Foundation and the Hernandez family to keep telling the story of the life Josh lived and how his story is still affecting people today. For more information or to see powerful images that have taken place over the past three years go to www.barachurch.com/llj. We hope to see you there!
Arise and Build
If you love accomplishing a lot at one time (think: one stop shopping) then you need to come check out our Arise and Build Prayer Nights every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm at the BARA offices. In less than an hour, you can praise The Lord for all He is doing in and through Arise and Build while you answer His call to pray audaciously for what is to come and if that wasn't enough: you will get to build new relationships with your BARA family!! One of the sweet byproducts of our Prayer Nights for those of us that have been participating is that we have experienced the joy of getting to know each other better in ways that can only happen by praying and spending time together. Give it a try and see how God can use a time of prayer devoted to building a building to actually build His church! For more information and directions to the Bara Church office click here.
