Here are some of the awesome ways you can serve in our bkids ministry!

Guest Greeter {Computer Check In}

A role for someone who is welcoming to all families and has very basic computer skills. Greet each family, enter name into computer and print children’s name tags.

Serves from 15 minutes prior to service until 10 minutes after service begins (9:15-9:40am or 10:45-11:10AM).

Guest Greeters may serve 1-4 times a month, depending on preference and availability.

A brief computer training will be provided on your first morning.

Teacher

We have three age groups: nursery, preschool/kindergarten, and elementary.

Preschool and elementary teachers receive emailed and printed lesson plans to follow. All supplies are prepared ahead of time by the bKids Director, so everything will be ready when you arrive. We ask that teachers look over their lesson ahead of time and arrive by 9AM the morning that they are teaching. We meet for a short team devotional before opening classroom doors. The bKids Director leads an opening and worship time. Then kids are split into separate classes. Your lesson will be 30-45 minutes in length and include a Bible story, games, and other interactive activities.

Nursery teachers will receive a simple lesson for the older toddlers in the morning when they arrive. This is very basic and usually includes a short Bible story, a song, and a simple activity or craft. Everything will be provided and their is no need to prepare anything before you arrive.

We do ask that all teachers be in place, ready to receive and play with children 15 minutes before the main gathering begins (at 9:15am or 10:45am, respectively).

All teachers must complete a background check.

Teachers may serve 1-4 times a month, depending on preference and availability.

We encourage our teachers to serve one gathering and attend the other, so that you are being grown spiritually. This is not a requirement, but it is our prayer for bKids teachers.
