What kind of love would give up its rights to show itself to others? What kind of love would associate with those who others ignore? What kind of love would die so that others could live?

A different kind of love. A love that doesn’t give up. A love that doesn’t stop. A love that is reckless in the best of ways.

                          A resolute kind of love.

                          1. Climb And Seek

"The crowd has a way of keeping us from seeing Jesus.”

When Zacchaeus heard that Jesus was coming, the crowd definitely posed an obstacle for him to see Jesus. But he didn’t give up. He was determined to experience Christ. He ran and climbed and tree, and then Jesus came to him. Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus more than he cared what the crowd thought of him.

Do we make the effort to see Jesus?

                          2. Looking For Evidence

Evidence is a big deal to people. We’re kind of wired that way. We like proof.

Many people want proof that there is a God. Hebrews says that, “…without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).

So, it’s clear that knowing Christ requires faith. And faith by it’s definition has to do with believing in the unseen.

However, we believe that there are evidences of God. In the sermon, Looking For Evidence, Pastor Joel discusses this idea.

                          3. An Expert In Love

                          All of us are either:

                          1.        Beating People Up

                          2.       Passing People Up

                          3.       Picking People Up

Are we known as the ones who pick people up no matter what the cost?

                          4. To The Ends Of The Earth

In the great commission Jesus says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Jesus has a heart for the nations, and seeing people come to know Him. We’re a part of that. It’s caring about people who are persecuted for their faith. We should care about people who may not look like exactly like us.

In this message, you can learn about what others are doing in response to this great commission, and be reminded and encouraged in the role that you play.
